Public notices for Arizona Finance Authority and the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority of Arizona
Public notices are intended to keep the public informed about government-related activities and promote transparency.
In addition to public meeting announcements, WIFA issues public notices related to projects and their environmental review findings.

  • Categorical Exclusion (CATEX) means that the project is eligible to be exempted from the environmental review requirements identified in A.A.C. R18-15-106 (B) and (C).
  • A Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) is issued if the Environmental Assessment (EA) supports the finding that the project will not have a significant impact on the environment. The FONSI includes the submitted EA and a brief description of the project, alternatives considered, project impacts, and any commitments to mitigation that are essential to render the impacts of the project not significant A.A.C. R18-15-106 (F) and (J).
