On August 14th, 2020, the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority and the City Williams closed their Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) loan. The loan is for $15,000,000, it has a 20-year repayment term, and carries a 1.76352% interest rate.
Project Description
The project will address the aging transmission line, inefficiencies in the delivery of water resources, and current water treatment plant operational burden. The project involves replacing eight miles of seventy-year-old pipe with a new, dual-line system that would separate the raw surface water and the higher quality well water supply.
